TRANSLATIONS & EVALUATIONS OF ACADEMIC CERTIFICATES

Translations & Evaluations of Academic Certificates

Numerous well-educated refugees and asylum seekers have approached the CTRC requesting assistance with the translation and evaluation of qualification certificates obtained in their countries of origin. CTRC is convinced that this service will provide much needed guidance in the process of gaining employment, especially for professionals such as Medical Doctors, Nurses, Engineers and Accountants.

The CTRC runs a Nursing Programme that is specifically designed to assist foreign-qualified nurses through the process of becoming a registered nurse in South Africa.  The CTRC and the UCT Law Clinic have complied a manual which breaks down the step-by-step process of registering with the South African Nursing Council (SANC).  This will enable the growing number of qualified refugee nurses in the Western Cape to register and gain employment, make positive contributions to their communities, and become self-reliant members of society.

If you are a foreign-qualified nurse and are interested in becoming part of our Nursing Programme, please contact our Job Placement Officer Phaladi Kotsie at phaladi@ctrc.co.za or call the office at (021) 762-9670 to set up an appointment.
