TRANSLATIONS & EVALUATIONS OF ACADEMIC CERTIFICATES 


Numerous well-educated refugees and asylum seekers have approached the CTRC requesting assistance with the translation and evaluation of qualification certificates obtained in their countries of origin. CTRC is convinced that this service will provide much needed guidance in the process of gaining employment, especially for professionals such as Medical Doctors, Nurses, Engineers and Accountants.

  • The CTRC assist foreign-qualified medical personell to write the necessary South African Medical board exams to gain registration with the Health Professional Council of South Africa to enable them to practise in their qualified medical field. We provide guidance and assistance to trained qualified nurses through the process of registering with the South African Nursing Council (SANC)  in order to practise as a professional Nurse in South Africa.

  • CTRC also provide asistance to other qualified professionals to have their qualifications verified and authorised by the South African Qualifications Association (SAQA). This will allow them to practise their profession at the level of qualification indicated and recognised by SAQA.

This programme will enable the growing number of qualified refugees in the Western Cape to register and gain employment, make positive contributions to their communities, and become self-reliant members of society.
